Bell to Sound designs and builds business websites, from a first site to a redesign or rebuild of an existing one.
For businesses, whether they have a marketing team or not: from marketing leaders responsible for the company website to founders who need a clear site and a straightforward way for customers to get in touch.
We agree the scope, fixed fee and delivery dates before work starts.

Your services may have changed while the website has stayed much the same. Visitors struggle to find the right information. Updating a page takes longer than it should. Or you’re starting a business and need a clear place to explain your offer.
Our website design services start with what your visitors need to understand and what you want them to do next. That shapes the pages, navigation and route to making an enquiry, as well as how you’ll manage the site after launch.
For an existing site, the first question is how much needs to change. A small set of improvements may be enough. If the structure or platform is getting in the way, a redesign or rebuild may be the better option. We’ll agree the appropriate route before committing to the work.
We discuss your audience, services and priorities, and review the current site where there is one. Then we agree the pages, content responsibilities, functionality and measures of success. If an existing site needs deeper investigation before it can be priced reliably, that discovery work is scoped and quoted separately.
We organise the information and develop the agreed design direction using your brand. You review it before the build progresses, with feedback gathered through one nominated approver.
The site is built in a separate preview environment so you can review it before it goes live. We check the agreed layouts and functions, including whether a test enquiry reaches the right person. For an existing site, we also plan the agreed content moves and redirects.
Once you’ve approved the site for launch, we coordinate the release with the hosting owner and check the core pages and enquiry form again. Training and handover cover everyday editing, account ownership and who will look after the site.
The standard build covers one English-language website for one brand, with up to eight content pages and five reusable page layouts. The exact pages and functionality are agreed before work starts.
Page planning and design. A page structure, one design direction using your existing branding, and layouts that adapt to mobile and desktop screens.
Content preparation. Guidance on what each page needs, plus light editing of the approved copy and assets you supply.
The website build. The agreed pages, one enquiry form with tested email delivery, and basic analytics and consent settings agreed for the project.
Search foundations and launch checks. Page titles, headings, internal links and sitemap checks, alongside checks of layouts, links, forms and basic accessibility.
Existing-site migration. For a rebuild, review of up to 20 existing page addresses to decide what stays, changes or needs redirecting.
Handover and training. Agreed site assets and access, a concise editing and handover guide, and a recorded 60-minute training session.
You’ll have two rounds of consolidated design feedback and a review of the built site before launch. Corrections for defects in the delivered work are included for 30 calendar days after launch.
New builds and rebuilds start at £5,000, with a fixed quote once the scope is clear. Smaller improvements are priced separately.
Allow an indicative six to eight weeks for a standard build. We’ll confirm the schedule around the agreed work, available capacity and when your content and feedback will be ready.

Tell us whether you’re starting from scratch or working with an existing site, what you need it to do, and any timing constraints.
We’ll use the initial conversation to assess fit and identify the next step: a scoped build, a set of improvements or further discovery.
